How to make a QR code business card (vCard)
A vCard QR code holds your contact details in a standard format, so scanning it lets someone add you to their address book in a tap — no typing your number or spelling your email. It's a modern replacement for a paper business card.
Create your contact code
- Open Scan QR Code Master, choose Create, and pick the contact / vCard type.
- Fill in the details you want to share — name, phone, email, company, website.
- Generate the code.
- Add it to your email signature, your phone's lock screen, or the back of a printed card.
What happens when someone scans it
Their phone recognizes the contact code and offers to create a new contact pre-filled with your details. They review it and tap save — everything spelled correctly, every time.
FAQ
- What is a vCard QR code?
- It's a QR code that contains contact information in the vCard format that phones understand. Scanning it prompts the phone to add a new contact with your name, number, email, and other details filled in.
- Can I include my social links on a contact QR code?
- You can include a website or profile URL in the card. If you mainly want to share one profile, a plain URL QR code pointing to your link-in-bio page is often simpler.
