These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Scan QR Code Master (the “App”) and our website (together, the “Services”), so please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy also applies to your use of the Services.

By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes may be posted within the App or on this page, so please check back regularly. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

The Services

Scan QR Code Master is a utility app that scans QR codes and barcodes and generates your own QR codes on your Apple devices, including features such as scanning from the camera or a saved image, creating codes for links, Wi-Fi, contacts and more, a scan and creation history, and sharing. Our website provides information about the App and how-to guides.

Your responsibilities

  • You may use the Services only if you are 13 years or older and are not barred from doing so under applicable law.
  • You are responsible for the codes you scan and create and for how you use their contents. Scan codes only from sources you trust, and review a link before opening it.
  • You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party services and content you access through a scanned or created code.

Purchases and subscriptions

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. If any paid features or auto-renewing subscriptions are offered, payment is processed by Apple, and any free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple account’s subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual property

Novaz and its licensors own the Services, including all associated intellectual property rights. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

QR Code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated. Scan QR Code Master is an independent app and is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by Denso Wave. All third-party product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Acceptable use

You agree not to — or attempt to — do any of the following:

  • use the App to create or distribute codes that link to unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Novaz system, or breach any security or authentication measures;
  • decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software used to provide the Services, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Services, or any user, host, or network;
  • violate any applicable law or regulation, or encourage anyone else to do any of the above.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access, at our discretion, if you do not comply with these Terms or use the Services in a way that could cause legal liability or disrupt others.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT EVERY CODE WILL SCAN OR DECODE CORRECTLY.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVAZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novaz and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them will be governed by the laws applicable to Novaz, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Novaz regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
