How to create your own QR code
Creating a QR code takes seconds: you pick what the code should contain, the app encodes it, and you get an image you can share or print. Here's the general flow.
Create a code step by step
- Open Scan QR Code Master, go to My Codes and create a New Code.
- Choose the Type. The app's App Store screenshots show Text, URL, Email, SMS, Wi-Fi and vCard.
- Give it a Title, then enter the details (for example, paste your URL or type your Wi-Fi name and password).
- Tap Save, then share or print the code.
Tips for a code that always scans
- Keep the content short — long text makes a denser, harder-to-scan code.
- Leave a clear white margin (a 'quiet zone') around the code when you place it in a design.
- Print it large enough for the scanning distance — a poster code needs to be much bigger than a business-card code.
- Test it with a couple of phones before you print or publish it.
