- Scan it with more than one phone — try an iPhone and an Android.
- Confirm it opens exactly the right link or content, with no typo in the destination.
- Test it at the actual printed size, from the distance people will really scan it.
- Check the quiet-zone margin is intact and nothing crops or covers the code.
- Try it in the lighting where it'll live — dim restaurants and glary windows are common failure spots.
